We’re pleased to offer an optional activity for each Global Inner Circle winner and their guest on Tuesday, June 7 and Wednesday, June 8. Please review the activity descriptions below before moving to registration.

Since capacity is limited for most activities, activity selections will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. If your selected activity fills up, Inner Circle Program Headquarters will contact you to discuss other options if necessary.

Hawaiian Sportfishing

The pristine waters off the Maui coast offer unmatched conditions for fishing. Thanks to the consistent, outstanding weather, skippers can find fish virtually any day of the year. Whether you’re a fishing novice or pro, you’ll quickly discover that sportfishing off the “Valley Isle” is unlike any other activity. Nothing will connect you to the true Hawaiian lifestyle like a day on the water, no matter what you catch!

Catamaran Sail & Snorkel

Nothing says luxury like an exclusive sailing catamaran experience! The tropical shores are home to hundreds of exotic fish and marine life, making a snorkel trip off Maui’s coastline an incomparable experience. Start by kicking off your shoes and boarding the luxury catamaran right off the beach. You’ll sail to Honolua Bay where your “snorkel safari” begins. Keep your eyes open for the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle or the schools of vibrant fish as you explore underwater. Finally, top off your perfect experience with a sumptuous lunch and drinks from the bar.

Local Surf Lessons

When on Maui, you do as the locals do – surf in the morning and hit the local hot spot for Happy Hour! With this adventure, you’ll be treated to private lessons at Lahaina’s famous “Break Walls” where you’ll be paired with expert surfers who will show you the steps to surfing like a pro.

After hanging ten, you’ll visit the newly opened Waikiki Brewing Company, just a short walk from the beach. The open-aired bar features stunning ocean views paired with craft beers, Maui-style cocktails, and delicious gastropub snacks that will satiate the appetite of any true-blue surfer.

Ocean Kayaking with Sea Turtles

The exquisite West Maui shoreline is known for calm, clear water, making it a natural haven for paddlers to experience the majesty of the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, or Honu, up close and personal.

You’ll launch your kayaks from the shallow waters of Olowalu, beneath the towering West Maui Mountains where you’ll paddle out to “Turtle Arches”. You’ll see the Honu while out on the water, but don’t be surprised if you also catch a glimpse of the elusive monk seal, playful spinner dolphin, or even an eagle ray or two.

Kapalua Zipline

The Kapalua Zipline is one of the most exciting ways to see Maui! Feel the wind whip past as you fly along seven zip lines that stretch over two miles of the West Maui Mountains.

This zipline boasts a mountain outpost with a 360 degree suspension bridge - the longest and highest in Hawaii! From there, you’ll continue your escapade in Polaris Ranger vehicles that climb to the top of the adventure course.

Parallel cable lines can allow partners to zip side by side!

Off-road ATV Expedition

Whizz through the West Maui Mountains on your own ATV! Take in breathtaking vistas of the neighboring Lanai and Molokai islands while traversing over 1,400 acres of rugged terrain. Learn about the beauty and importance of the Pu`u Kukui Watershed Reserve which is home to plants and animal species that do not exist anywhere else in Hawai`i, let alone the rest of the world.

Guides will highlight the rich history of Kapalua and educate you about their efforts to restore the natural environment. Lastly, in a special group effort, you’ll roll up your sleeves and take part in the planting of a young koa tree, an indigenous tree deeply rooted in the history of Hawaiian culture.

Rainforest and Waterfall Hike

Gear up for a storybook rainforest hike that offers a picture-perfect waterfall oasis, spilling over a prehistoric cave, draped with vines and greenery. Finishing with a swim in a fresh-water pool beneath a cascading waterfall, this excursion is the Hawaiian adventure of your dreams.

Chocolate Farm Tour and Tasting

As Ursula Kohaupt best put it, “chocolate is happiness that you can eat.” That’s why this tasty tour is such a treat!

You’ll check in at the largest chocolate factory in the state, the Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Factory, with a specialty cacao drink in hand. From there, your knowledgeable guide will transport you to the private cacao farm, nestled in the foothills of the majestic West Maui mountains. With over 20 acres of cacao trees, your guide will lead you from “branch to bar” on an interactive, experiential tour through the only working chocolate farm on Maui.

Learn all about the cacao tree and the fascinating harvesting techniques of this prized fruit culminating with an exclusive tasting of the award-winning chocolate in a custom-built treehouse.

Pineapple Plantation Tour and Tasting

Start your day on the only working pineapple plantation in America, nestled in the sleepy town of Hali’imaile. This eco-friendly plantation offers bi-coastal views, light trade winds, and best of all, your very own Hawaiian pineapple to pick fresh from the earth. You’ll be given a “pineapple popsicle” sample, cut right from the root, to experience the finer nuances of the pineapple’s sweet flavors throughout its varying stages of maturity.

Next, you’ll be escorted to the Hali’imaile Distilling Company where they use the local harvest to create tantalizing spirits. You’ll be guided through the process of making vodka, rum, and whisky with a trip to the tasting room where you’ll be given an opportunity to sample a number of unique, Maui-made craft spirits.

Cooking Dumplings with 'Top Chef' Lee Anne Wong

Drawing on her many TV appearances, Chef Lee Anne Wong brings a vibrant energy to her cooking class, crafted exclusively for your group. You will learn how to prepare dumplings: delicate and delicious “tiny presents” that can be creatively filled with just about anything. The central courtyard of the Pioneer Inn creates an eclectic and fun setting for a lesson in this ancient Chinese art.

Followed by a gourmet lunch in the hotel’s indoor restaurant, this collaborative culinary event is truly unique. You’ll go home with a signed copy of Chef Wong’s cookbook along with a keepsake rolling pin.
